If you are in the bed bug business, or thinking of adding on this service, you will NOT want to miss the virtual 2020 Global Bed Bug Summit on December 2-3. Hear from speaker Dini Miller, Ph.D., Virginia Polytechnic and State University on what to expect this year:
Help the industry by getting involved
NPMA is reaching out to the industry in Georgia to encourage them to vote in the January 5th runoff that will determine control of the Senate. This election will determine what the Senate looks like for the next two years.
NPMA has already fought multiple bills this year like the Neguse bill, which would ban pesticides, totally dismantle preemption in all 50 states, and mandate that the EPA no longer incorporate the benefits of the products in risk determinations. This would be a huge blow to our industry. Activist groups will be pushing this bill, and others like it, so it is essential we elect members of Congress who understand how important our industry is to the protection of public health. It is easy to imagine this bill in an evenly split Senate, and others like it passing to President Biden’s desk.
The application process will close at 11:59pm ET on November 22.
The Executive Leadership Program (ELP) was created to find passionate, committed, and engaged individuals from all parts of the country who want to enhance NPMA and the membership experience while connecting with industry leaders.
During this program, ELP candidates will participate in a two-year planned curriculum that prepares them for association leadership.
NPMA will appoint PMPs from across the country to participate in the ELP. NPMA will fund your participation and travel to Academy and PestWorld, so that you can be part of our board meeting, share your experiences and take advantage of networking and learning activities.
