It’s Tick Awareness Week and the Professional Pest Management Alliance, the consumer outreach arm of NPMA is making a complimentary tick awareness week tool kit available for all members.
NPMA is eager to assist small businesses in their growth by providing them with a variety of resources and materials within our Small Business Toolbox. This member exclusive toolbox is designed to help you grow your business. By providing content within areas like finance, marketing, business management, human resources, company culture, training & development, and safety, you can pinpoint specific areas within your business to work on.
NPMA has spearheaded a letter in support of the Congressional pesticide preemption bill, H.R. 7266 and gathered 159 individual associations as signatories. Both national and state associations signed on representing diverse areas such as agriculture, pest management, landscaping, golf, forestry, and pesticide education. Every single state association in the pest management industry joined the effort, showing how important the issue of pesticide preemption is to ensure we can continue protecting America’s food, health, and property. A copy of the letter is available here. This is a monumental achievement for our industry, as we continue to push for a preemption fix once and for all in the 2023 Farm Bill. We will be using this letter in all of our Congressional visits, and we encourage the industry to reach out to federal representatives and use this letter to help them understand the importance of preemption. For any question on pesticide preemption or H.R. 7266, contact NPMA VP of Public Policy Ashley Amidon at aamidon@pestworld.org.
Ahoy there! We’re gearing up for one of NPMA’s most engaging events, Academy! Through interactive games and competitions, you’ll experience team-building first-hand. So, seas the day, and view the full itinerary now.
