Last week, Dominique Stumpf joined Britt Wood, CEO of the National Association of Landscape Professionals, Rhett Evans, CEO of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, and Megan Provost, President of RISE for a roundtable discussion on policy issues. The panel went over how applicator groups could work together to defend state preemption, advocate against unscientifically founded pesticide bans and work collectively to strengthen our industries at the local state and federal levels. NPMA will be working with our State Policy Affairs Representatives (SPARs), state leaders and policy committee to prepare for the 2023 state legislation as we continue to advocate for federal preemption ahead of the 2023 Farm Bill.
