On Wednesday, NPMA met with Jake Li, Deputy Assistant Administrator for Pesticide Programs, to discuss the scope of EPA’s Vulnerable Species Pilot Project. During the meeting, NPMA expressed the importance of excluding structural exterior perimeter applications from the scope of the pilot project. NPMA has signed onto joint coalition comments supported by nearly 100+ organizations that identify key areas of concern with the pilot project. NPMA will also be submitting our comments to EPA before the Sunday, August 6th deadline. Next week, NPMA will be sharing an FAQ document related to this pilot project that provides an overview of the proposed mitigation measures.
