NPMA's PestWorld Day of Service, held on Friday, October 20 at PestWorld 2023 in Hawaii, was an exceptional success. The PWIPM 5k benefitted the Maui Food Bank, PestVets raised $20,000 for Wounded Warrior Ohana, Communities+ Diversity Council collected gift cards for Maui fire victims, and the Leadership Networking Council (LNC) generated $12,420 for Beat Malaria—a 76% increase over last year. These remarkable achievements collectively underscore the industry's dedication to not only addressing pest-related challenges but also to fostering a more compassionate and sustainable world through acts of philanthropy and solidarity.

To inform consumers about the serious health threats posed by pests, the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), the consumer marketing arm of NPMA, utilizes public service announcements to share important health messaging. In its most recent PPMA Update, a monthly newsletter shared with investors, they reported their August PSA results: 8,048 new TV and radio airings which resulted in nearly 42 million impressions, worth an estimated $2.5 million in media value. Additionally, their new live-action PSA “Hide and Seek” has been gathering momentum across radio and TV stations, yielding 2,494 airings and 5.8 million impressions in August.
