Concrete Contractors to Host Regional Conference in San Diego

The American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), in partnership with the San Diego and Southern California Chapters of ACI, is holding a regional conference, April 3 - 4 in San Diego. The evening of April 3 will feature a presentation and preview tour of the San Diego Central Library project. The presentation will be made by representatives of Turner Construction and Morley Construction, with special guest speakers Rob W. Quigley, FAIA and Jean M. Libby, P.E.  Thursday’s program, at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter, features Kevin MacDonald, Beton Consulting Engineers, LLC, speaking on Moving From Prescriptive to Performance-Based Specifications for Cast-In-Place Concrete and Peter Ruttura, Ruttura & Sons Const. Co., Inc., who will speak on The Pre-construction Conference: Key to a Successful Project.
