Indian Official Advocates for Concrete Roads

Spanning the globe, we came across this recent article posted by the The Hindu Business Line where E. Sreedharan said concrete roads offer about "the only salvation" for users in an Indian state where major monsoons strike twice each year. The official also cited concrete being less vulnerable to water seepage or oil/lubricant spillage and better skid resistance, among other reasons.
