2013 International Concrete Sustainability Conference Speaker Spotlight: FHWA to Present Sustainability Initiatives for Highway Construction

Suneel Vanikar (shown here), team leader of the pavement design and analysis team for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), will present the latest sustainability initiatives for highway construction at the 8th Annual International Concrete Sustainability Conference, May 6-8, in San Francisco. His presentation will include discussion of the FHWA Invest highway sustainability rating tool during the opening general session. In addition, Ahmad Ardani, manager of concrete laboratories for FHWA, will present Enhancing the Performance of High Volume Fly Ash Concretes Using Fine Limestone Powder during the technical sessions.
