Dr. Liv Haselbach, associate professor at Washington State University, will present Removal of High Levels of Dissolved Zinc and Copper in Pervious Concrete at the 8th annual International Concrete Sustainability Conference, May 6-8, in San Francisco. Since then, dozens of speakers have presented at the conference on pervious concrete. This year’s conference is no different. In addition to Dr. Haselbach, the following presentations will address different aspects of pervious concrete:
• Nathan Grahl, graduate researcher at University of Missouri - Kansas City, will present Hydraulic Design of Pervious Concrete Highway Shoulders; and
• Alan Sparkman, executive director at Tennessee Concrete Association, will present Pervious Concrete: New Field Practices, Standards and Technology.
