ACI 318 Revisions Address Concrete Testing Issues

A revision of the American Concrete Institute's 318-11 Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete has been made to address issues related to testing and the distribution of results, writes NRMCA Senior Vice President of Engineering Colin Lobo, who serves on two ACI committees. "Timely distribution of test results to all impacted parties will ensure that quality is maintained and will save time, money and prevent delays in project schedules," Lobo notes.
