NRMCA’s Lobo Receives ASTM Award of Merit

NRMCA Senior Vice President of Engineering Colin Lobo was recognized by ASTM Committee C09 with the Award of Merit with the title of Fellow of ASTM. The Award of Merit is the highest individual recognition awarded by ASTM; nominations are by peers with several types of service evaluated. The citation: "For tireless service to ASTM Committee C09 on Concrete and Concrete Aggregates; particularly for his outstanding contributions to technology transfer, specifications for concrete materials, test methods for fresh and hardened concrete, evaluation of data, and assessment of laboratories."

Lobo has been active in ASTM committees since he joined NRMCA in 1991. He received the C09 Katharine and Bryant Mather Member Contribution Award in 2006 and was recognized as an Honorary Member of Committee C01 on Cement in 2012.
