NRMCA Local Paving team members Jon Hansen (at far right in accompanying picture), senior vice president of local paving and Phil Kresge (second from far left), senior director of local paving along with Glenn Ochsenreiter, senior vice president of marketing, were in Las Vegas last week exhibiting at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) RECon Conference.
The NRMCA exhibit booth featured the message of concrete overlays of existing asphalt parking lots and netted over 60 individuals requesting more information and/or specific project follow up, many of whom had multiple locations in need of parking lot rehabilitation.
"This was NRMCA’s fourth year of attending and exhibiting at ICSC RECon, with past years netting around 35-45 leads each year. The quality and quantity of leads this year proves the practice of overlaying existing asphalt with concrete is not only a proven method of asphalt parking lot rehabilitation, but is also one that is being recognized nationally," Hansen said.
ICSC RECon is held annually in May at the Las Vegas Convention Center and is attended by over 36,000 people involved in the construction, maintenance and leasing of shopping centers, malls and other retail-commercial type property.
