The topic of discussion was Concrete Quality Assurance on the Jobsite and focused specifically on caring for concrete test cylinders. The majority of discussion centered around ACI 301’s recommendations regarding contractors’ responsibilities with regard to providing adequate curing of concrete cylinders. Approximately 65 attendees, representing testing laboratories, engineering firms and municipalities from across the greater Washington, DC, area joined with concrete industry representatives in the lively discussion.
