Registration for the next public Webinar from the MIT Concrete Sustainability Hub (CSHub), Pavements: Competition, on Thursday, December 7, is now available. When sustained competition exists in a market, the price for similar goods is expected to go down. This Webinar presents CSHub research that illustrates how this economic principal holds true with paving materials - which could mean significant savings for DOTs and taxpayers alike. This Webinar is part of the CSHub's public Webinar series which summarize research results in a format suitable for a broad audience. Other staff, customers, specifiers or other construction project decision makers are invited to attend. Although pre-registration is required, there is no fee charged for these Webinars.
In addition, recordings of past Webinars are available on the MIT CSHub YouTube channel. Past topics include life cycle assessment (LCA) and life cycle cost analysis (LCCA) of buildings and pavements. Other topics have included pavement-vehicle interaction (PVI) and impacts of hazard resistance of buildings on LCCA.
