This week, NRMCA convened its new Small Producer Council (SPC) to shape the future of how the Association supports its widest range of members. The SPC was formed to ensure that these members have an opportunity to lead a conversation on their unique needs and consult their peers on issues that mean the most for their businesses. James Schelzi of Woburn Redi Mix Concrete in Massachusetts will act as representative for this council.
SPC's inaugural gathering already made progress toward distributing information to NRMCA members. Future council meetings will cover a wide range of topics, including networking, education, content distribution and business intelligence. The desired result is to not only grow this vital segment of the Association membership base, but, more importantly, finish 2021 with a refreshed and targeted plan to best support our small business partners.
