PRO Act Gaining Momentum: Take Action!

The PRO Act is once again gaining momentum in Congress. President Biden included it in his America Jobs Plan; the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions is holding a hearing on the bill and House Democrats are planning on including the bill in their upcoming reconciliation package. This anti-business legislation codifies a host of harmful labor policies that strip employers of many of their rights. The PRO Act would include the Obama-era joint employer standard, ambush elections rule and persuader rule while eliminating the right to a private ballot in organizing elections, forcing employers to disclose employees personal information without consent and nullifying state-passed right to work laws.
