NRMCA Presents Path to Resilience, Carbon Neutrality Before Oregon Audience

NRMCA Vice President, Local Paving, Don Clem, PE, and Jason Weiss, Ph.D., Edwards Distinguished Chair in Engineering at Oregon State University, recently presented Path to Resilience and Carbon Neutrality with Cement and Concrete at the fall conference (virtual) of the American Public Works Association – Oregon Chapter. Clem's colleague Patrick Matsche, senior director, building innovations, assisted with answering questions from the 78 attendees. The presentation was organized by Diane Warner, PE, executive director of the Northwest Cement Council. The base presentation was developed by the education subcommittee of the Oregon Concrete and Aggregates Producers Association, chaired by Michael Bernert, vice president of Wilsonville Concrete Products.
