NRMCA Conducts Two Successful Parking Lot Boot Camps

Senior Vice Presidents of Local Paving Jon Hansen and Phil Kresge recently completed two Parking Lot Boot Camps within a 3-week period. “Success breeds success,” Hansen reports. “When one contractor sees what another is doing, wondering what he knows that I don’t know, the answer was Parking Lot Boot Camp.”
Both Boot Camps were conducted in the same region of the country during the weeks of July 27 and August 9, with both contractors primarily interested in learning the latest information on concrete overlays of existing asphalt parking lots. As one contractor commented during his Boot Camp, “During these times when I might not get enough concrete daily to do a full depth industrial parking lot, I probably can get enough to do an overlay, which keeps my crews working full days.”
