NRMCA, NW Cement Council Lend Support at Oregon Public Works Association Conference

NRMCA and Northwest Cement Council (NCC) Executive Director Diane Warner, PE, recently teamed up to support the Oregon American Public Works Association's Fall Conference held in Pendleton, OR. NRMCA Vice President, Local Paving, Don Clem, PE, presented Guide to Concrete Overlays of Asphalt Parking Lots, outlining the new provisions of the second edition of the popular concrete overlay guide as well as a case study of the DEN Pikes Peak Fee Lot project built in Denver in 2019. The breakout session drew a standing room only crowd of over 50 attendees.
The NCC sponsored a booth at the conference focusing on concrete overlays as well as low carbon concrete.
