NRMCA Verifies Host of EPDs for Producer Members in July

NRMCA recently verified six system-level Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for the following Producer members:
- Four Winds Concrete – public access to the EPD is available on the NRMCA EPD webpage as NRMCAEPD: 20100 Four Winds Concrete. This EPD reports the impacts for ready mixed concrete from two plants in Pennsylvania.
- Bonded Concrete – public access to the EPD is available on the NRMCA EPD webpage as NRMCAEPD: 20101 Bonded Concrete. This EPD reports the impacts for ready mixed concrete from two plants in upstate New York.
- Tresca Brothers Concrete – public access to the EPD is available on the NRMCA EPD webpage as NRMCAEPD: 20102 Tresca Brothers Concrete. This EPD reports the impacts for ready mixed concrete from one plant in Millis, MA.
- Ernst Concrete – public access to the EPD is available on the NRMCA EPD webpage as NRMCAEPD: 20103 Ernst Concrete. This EPD reports the impacts for ready mixed concrete from four plants in the Columbus, OH, market.
- Powhatan Ready Mix – public access to the EPD is available on the NRMCA EPD webpage as NRMCAEPD: 20104 Powhatan Ready Mix. This EPD reports the impacts for ready mixed concrete from four plants in the Richmond, VA, market.
- Conewago Manufacturing – public access to the EPD is available on the NRMCA EPD webpage as NRMCAEPD: 20105 Conewago Manufacturing. This EPD reports the impacts for ready mixed concrete from one plant in Hanover, PA.
The above EPDs were developed in consultation with Climate Earth and based on the CarbonCLARITY software tool which was reviewed and verified by Industrial Ecology Consultants. EPDs for Four Winds Concrete, Bonded Concrete, Tresca Brothers Concrete and Ernst Concrete were verified by Ecoform. EPDs for Powhatan Ready Mix and Conewago Manufacturing were verified by Industrial Ecology Consultants. Both are verifiers in NRMCA’s EPD program.
