NRMCA Advocates for Sustainability at Virginia Fall Convention

NRMCA Director, Sustainability Codes and Standards, Tiffany Reed-Villarreal recently addressed members of the Virginia Ready Mixed Concrete Association at the VRMCA Fall Convention in Greenbrier, WV. She presented updates on NRMCA sustainability initiatives and advancements in sustainability codes and standards with a specific focus on the Concrete Product Category Rules (PCR) and the NRMCA Industry-Wide Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Program.
Reed-Villarreal (seen here at podium) highlighted NRMCA's ongoing efforts in refining the Concrete PCR, emphasizing the importance of accurate life cycle assessments, and encouraged members to participate in the EPD program. This program is important for establishing standards and providing industry-led environmental data for concrete products.
