Last week, NRMCA Senior Director, Building Innovations, Frank Mruk attended The American Institute of Architects' Rhode Island (AIA RI) chapter Top Golf event (seen here) which supported young emerging architects. The event was supported by numerous architecture/engineering and construction firms in the region; more than 50 participants attended.
The AIA RI Emerging Professionals Committee promotes education, leadership development and community involvement among emerging architects, architecture graduates, Associate AIA members and architects licensed 10 years or less. AIA RI encourages the next generation of architects to start leading their communities by heading committees, organizing events, participating in workshops and attending chapter events.
The Build With Strength program is a leader in supporting emerging architects in the specification of high-performance, energy-efficient concrete buildings. For more information, contact Frank Mruk at fmruk@nrmca.org.
