The NRMCA’s Build With Strength initiative is a proud sponsor of the Advancing Construction Decarbonization symposium to be held in Denver July 15 - 17. The third annual conference brings together hundreds of sustainability and project leaders from across North America to solve and advance carbon reduction strategies, reports NRMCA Senior Director, Building Innovations, Patrick Matsche.
Buildings produce 39% of CO2 emissions globally and building owners, investors and regulatory bodies are demanding construction firms and material suppliers rethink their approach to sustainability, including the way they use concrete. NRMCA is recognized as a leading expert to help the construction industry meet its decarbonization goals.
In addition to sponsoring the conference, NRMCA will also speak during the general session and host a reception after the program on July 16 to celebrate progress toward carbon neutrality. It’s been 10 years since NRMCA published its first Industry-Wide EPD and Benchmark Report and the concrete industry has lowered its carbon footprint by 21% since then.

NRMCA’s Build With Strength platform is a leader in supporting structural engineers and architects in specifying low carbon, high-performance concrete.
