SEO Committee Schedules Education Sessions at ConcreteWorks

At this year’s NRMCA’s ConcreteWorks, the Safety, Environmental and Operations (SEO) Committee in conjunction with the Workforce Development (WDC) Committee will host a full slate of related education sessions. Joint sessions from SEO and WDC will focus on recent labor law developments as well as what enhancements the NRMCA learning and development offerings will observe. Specific to SEO, there will be an update from the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Smart Sectors Program staff, EPA environmental justice initiatives and fly ash management efforts. The SEO track will also host a session on the basics of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

Saturday, October 12
2 - 3 p.m. - Joint Session on labor update
3:30 - 4:30 p.m. - Joint Session on highlights of educational offerings
Sunday, October 13
2 - 3 p.m. - EPA Smart Sectors update
3:30 - 4:30 p.m. - EPDs 101
