Last week, NRMCA Senior Director, Building Innovations, Frank Mruk presented a 1 1/2-hour session titled Leveraging Innovation in Concrete Net-Zero Buildings at the American Institute of Architects' (AIA) Tri-State Fusion Conference held at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA. The conference was sponsored by AIA state components of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania; more than 150 architects attended the event.

The Tri-State Fusion Conference was designed to immerse architects in the region’s rich architectural heritage and discover the latest products and technologies shaping the industry and furthering its mission. The AIA has set a goal to achieve net-zero emissions in the building sector by 2040 and advocates for policies that encourage the design of energy efficient, carbon neutral buildings.

AIA NY has over 5,500 members; AIA NJ has over 2,000 members and AIA PA has more than 3,000 members for a total of over 10,500 architects in the tri-state region.

Build With Strength is a leader in providing competitive advantage, enabling technology resources to architects around the country. For more information, contact Frank Mruk at fmruk@nrmca.org.
