During the upcoming Spring Semester, NRMCA will offer both the Dispatcher 101 and Advanced Dispatcher courses. Together, these programs form a comprehensive education track for dispatchers, including those who are new to their roles as well as seasoned veteran dispatchers.
Dispatcher 101: This course is an excellent option to build the knowledge, skills and confidence of new dispatchers. The curriculum of Dispatcher 101 covers the fundamentals of concrete dispatch, common challenges which dispatchers are presented and technology which is used to facilitate efficient, productive dispatching. Learners will benefit from the insight and instruction of Ron Robertson of NRMCA Associate member Command Alkon who has over 30 years of experience in dispatch and customer success management roles.
Advanced Dispatcher: This course is tailored to dispatch managers or supervisors aiming to effect positive changes and improvements within their departments. Learners enrolled in this course will study and discuss the critical components and processes present in premier ready mix dispatch operations; analyze key performance metrics for delivery and customer service; and review strategies to couple management and leadership to foster teamwork among dispatch colleagues. Instructor Jack Delperdang of CD RMC Consulting brings over 50 years of experience in dispatch leadership roles to this course as well as comprehensive expertise as a ready mixed concrete dispatch consultant.
As part of the Spring Semester Series, the Dispatcher 101 Course will be offered from May 5 - 6 and May 8 - 9 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
