Sales training has been a high priority for NRMCA’s Learning & Development team since the Association began overhauling its educational programs. To this end, as the Certified Concrete Sales Professional (CCSP) program concludes, NRMCA is excited to foster the development of sales professionals in the RMC industry through its successor, the Sales Symposium.
Above all, NRMCA aims to provide learners with practical knowledge, guidance from experienced sales professionals and opportunities to network with their peers. Registrants for the program will be grouped into two flights, spending one day covering course content with other members of their flight and one day engaging in activities with the full body of learners.
Symposium topics include prospecting and planning, and profiling and persuasion with DiSC personality assessments as well as concrete marketing and the economic outlook of the RMC industry. Learners will also benefit from the insight offered by guest speakers and panels of sales experts. Finally, whether through time specifically blocked for networking or through engaging in tabletop topic teams, there will be no shortage of opportunities for sales professionals to interact with their peers.
