South Dakota City Officials Pleased with Pervious Project

A few months ago here in E-NEWS, we reported on a Rapid City, SD, pervious concrete project. A couple of months later, construction workers placed a 1,100-square-foot section of sidewalk at a local park. City officials acknowledge that that mixture is more costly than conventional ready mixed concrete, but cited reducing stormwater runoff as worth the extra dollars.
