Last week, Minnesota's Mayo Clinic was the site of a large concrete pour. This week, we travel to South Carolina, where a lengthy line of mixer trucks placed tons of concrete to lay the foundation of Clemson University’s Wind Turbine Drivetrain Testing Facility. How much concrete? Well, the local NBC television news affiliate, WCBD, came up with a few novel descriptions in its May 11 report.
