Of all the materials processed by recyclers for reuse in new products, one of the most expensive is concrete. Debris from building demolitions and road-building projects is the heaviest of all recycled materials, and its density requires powerful, expensive processing equipment. Despite these challenges, at least two Minnesota businesses are doing just that.
