NRMCA recently revised its Environmental Program Operator (EPD) Instructions based on input from one of its EPD verifiers during the recent verification of the first North American EPD for concrete. Version 1.0 of NRMCA EPD Program Instruction, which were developed by NRMCA’s EPD Program Committee in August 2012, have been revised to version 1.1 to address minor issues related to reference standards and mandatory environmental reporting requirements. The revisions ensure that the NRMCA EPD Program remains as consistent as possible with other other EPD programs in order to support the use of that information in LEED v4, IgCC, Architecture 2030 Challenge for Products and other green building and environmental programs.
