Hale Ritchie, former CEO of the Ritchie Corp., member of the NRMCA Board of Directors and longtime industry leader, started in his family’s company driving concrete trucks during summers in high school. Ritchie, was just nine credit hours shy of graduating from the University of Kansas when his father asked him to return home to join the business following the departure of the manager of one of its divisions, Allen’s Concrete. Now retired, Ritchie was recently interviewed by a local newspaper on his career in the ready mix business along with his charitable activities.
