NRMCA Notes Death of Past Board Chairman Norman J. Fredericks, Jr.

Past NRMCA Board of Directors Chairman Norman J. Fredericks, Jr. died in May 2013. NRMCA was recently informed of his passing by his widow, Marge, whom he was married to for 48 years. They had three children and numerous grandchildren. He was a graduate of the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Georgetown University. He spent his career working at Koenig Company, a family owned business started in 1870. He was a 50-year member of the Detroit Athletic Club (DAC), where he excelled in handball and squash. Fredericks was an avid golfer, belonging to Bloomfield Hills Country Club and The Yacht & Country Club in Stuart, FL. Fredericks was chairman of the board in 1990.
