NRMCA's Workforce Development Committee will host its two-day Spring 2019 working meeting and networking opportunity in Chicago, May 13-14. Ready mix producers that want to address the industry’s employment challenges are invited. Task groups will meet individually the afternoon of Monday, May 13, followed by a group networking dinner and concluding with a full committee meeting on Tuesday, May 14. That meeting will dismiss at noon. Attendees typically include senior HR and training professionals, senior level managers from all spectrums of the ready mixed concrete business and mixer driver supervisors. The committee’s goals are to address industry-wide recruitment and retention, leadership development and industry-based training as well as labor, regulatory and legislative issues.
In today’s full employment economy, our industry is vigorously competing with everyone to fill – and keep – staff, from entry level to the C-Suite.
