Has Your Company Filled Out the 2021 Mixer Driver Recruitment & Retention Survey?

Early survey numbers are grim; what we don’t know is if they are an accurate precursor. Half way through the survey window, participation is a third of what it was last year- and last year’s participation was down 20%. Therefore, we need your help. Please forward our participation request to the appropriate person in your company. To date:

• 67% of producers turned down business because they did not have a driver to deliver the order.
• 2% more drivers left than were hired, shrinking the total mixer driver pool.
• 67% of those who quit were tenured drivers. An equal amount went to a competitor and left the concrete industry for another CDL job.
