Build With Strength, an initiative led by NRMCA, is launching the second year of the Concrete Academy. Across the world, concrete is one of the most popular building materials due to its affordability, versatility and durability. In addition, concrete is often used because of its thermal mass, or ability to store heat, which can reduce energy use in buildings. The Concrete Academy, presented by BNP Media (publishers of ENR and Architectural Record) offers a total of 8 continuing education credits with courses ranging from the Business Case for Building with Concrete to The Top 10 Ways to Reduce Concrete’s Carbon Footprint.
