Last week, the Connecticut Concrete Promotion Council (CCPC) and Connecticut chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA CT) sponsored a Concrete and Coffee session at the Slate School in North Haven, CT, reports NRMCA Senior Director, Building Innovations, Frank Mruk, FAIA. Phase Two of Slate School is currently under construction (seen here); the school is innovative in its use of insulated concrete forms and glass pozzolan low carbon concrete.
