The NRMCA’s Spring 2018 Safety Course is selling out quickly. Don’t wait to register. The course will take place April 10 - 12 in Orlando, FL. This 2.5-day course teaches participants about OSHA safety compliance. It begins with why safety is so important and details the reasons why an effective safety program actually saves money through loss prevention and control. Participants learn about electrical safety, machine guarding, fall protection, hazard communication, confined spaces, personal protective equipment, firefighting and evacuation, maintenance shop safety, chute handling, fleet safety, pre-trip inspection and more.

The NRMCA Government Affairs Committee will meet at NRMCA’s 2018 Annual Convention at the Marquis Marriott Houston in the River Oaks Rooms, on Sunday, March 4, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. This meeting will consist of a brief review of 2017, a look at the 2018 forecast in Washington, discussion of NRMCA’s Government Affairs agenda for 2018 and a CONCRETEPAC presentation. Afterward, there will be a a joint NRMCA/NSSGA/PCA Government Affairs meeting from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in Texas Ballroom GH.
