Thousands of U.S. troops serving overseas, veterans and VA hospitals will soon receive caffineated comforts of home, thanks to customers of Books-A-Million and its Coffee for the Troops campaign in partnership with Soldiers’ Angels. The program, which ran between September 30 and October 27, allowed customers to honor U.S. soldiers by purchasing a bag of coffee from any Books-A-Million location or online.

 

In a transaction expected to close wtihin the next 60 to 90 days, Schwan’s Company, a leading U.S. food business, announced that it has reached an agreement to sell a majority stake of the company to CJ CheilJedang of Seoul, South Korea. The sale will include the company’s manufacturing and logistics operations and various professional and administrative services.

 

Eversight, a leader in AI-powered pricing and promotion software, announced recently that General Mills is utilizing the Eversight Offer Innovation Suite. The technology will be utilized by General Mills’ snacks business to enhance the effectiveness of its brands’ promotions.
