Today’s General Session will feature the State of the Association address from NYSAR President Margaret Hartman, NAR political coordinator for New York Karl Eckhart and a presentation of the 2012 RPAC awards.

The latest Siena Research Institute poll found that voters throughout New York and in the Southern Tier still remain divided on the issue of hydrofracking. The poll also found that voters’ favorable impression of Gov. Andrew Cuomo has slipped.

The New York State Real Estate Education Foundation is
currently accepting applications for the Next Generation Scholarship. This fund
awards scholarships for higher education to the next generation of real estate
professionals. Eligibility is limited to relatives of active NYSAR members
living in New York State. The application deadline is March 1.
