David Murphy, CPA, MBA, Moves to Morgan Stanley Wealth Management

NYSAE Board member David Murphy has joined Morgan Stanley, one of the largest, most respected companies in the financial services industry. Murphy is Senior Vice President and Institutional Consultant with Graystone Consulting, an investment boutique backed by the global capabilities and vast resources of Morgan Stanley.
“It is exciting to join a firm keenly focused on building strong teams and providing a superior level of high-quality service to Nonprofits,” said Murphy.
In this new role, Murphy will leverage his three decades of experience to better serve his clients. In addition, he is partnering with the JK Meek Group at Morgan Stanley. Jim Meek and Murphy worked together as part of the ASAE Association Investment Program when they were both at Legg Mason early in their careers. Together they act as proactive and collaborative partners to help their clients grow their social and financial capital.
