NYSAE Welcomes Two New Directors to the Board

During the NYSAE annual business meeting, nominations chair Gerard Thiers, CAE, reported that the members elected two new members of the Board who will serve two-year terms beginning on July 1st.

Jerry Cito is Executive Vice President, Convention Development of NYC & Company. He is responsible for developing NYC as a premier meetings and conventions destination, highlighting the world-class products and services of the company’s members and the diverse meetings offerings of the overall destination. 

Malachy Kavanagh is Executive Vice President, Global & Corporate Development for ICSC. Malachy joined ICSC in 1996 and served in several key roles at the organization before being appointed EVP of Global & Corporate Development in 2018. He provides leadership for ICSC’s global offices, overseeing global initiatives & strategic relationships in addition to the organization’s international portfolio of events.
