WSIB Responds to COVID-19 Challenge

Your WSIB premium remittance for 2020 has been delayed until August 31st in order to provide you with cash flow relief. This is one of many provisions provided in the recent Provincial Economic update. This is particularly critical since the WSIB issued a process to adjudicate COVID-19 claims. Now recognized as an industrial disease, construction workers are covered under this policy.
OGCA, working through our partners in the CEC, appealed to the WSIB to remove the individual liability of employers and apply the costs equally to all employers through schedule 1.
