This year, since we are unable to gather at Blue Mountain Resort for our Symposium, we are holding a one day event on Friday, April 9, 2021, as a virtual symposium. We have selected the sessions that will be held and are seeking sponsorship for the event. We have opted not to charge for the sessions.
We will provide everyone with one link to register for the full day. You can drop in for any of the sessions or stay for the whole day. You will be able to link up with the sponsors and sit at their table, or reachout to other attendees and invite them to join you at a table.

The Digital Transformation of the Construction Industry and how Cyber Risk will Change your Business
Steven Gava from Marsh is interviewing Adam, a construction technology expert about how tech impacts risk and the need for cybersecurity and the physicality of digital risks. I believe this is a continuation of their presentation on cyber risk last year. Steven is looking to work with a GC on the panel as well.
AI In Construction
Procore is a leading provider of construction management software, and last year, it introduced new artificial intelligence (AI) features on the Procore platform and an initiative to increase the use of data in construction. A three person panel hosted by Procore featuring Yuri Bartiz of Pomerleau and an AI Expert from Procore will focus on program integrations with IoT and AI applications in the construction industry. The panel will also feature Niran Shestha of KWANT.AI, a new technology solution that has been working with AON and Procore to use predictive analytics & sensors to increase productivity and safety.
CCDC 2 and Ready for Takeover – WeirFoulds and FCA Insurance Brokers
WeirFoulds LLP in collaboration with FCA Insurance will be presenting an insightful seminar on the newly updated CCDC 2 2020 Stipulated Price Contract. The presentation will broadly cover the majority of changes with a specific focus on the following updates to the CCDC 2 contract. Please do come prepared with questions if there are any specific issues you require clarity on.
