As partners of Threads of Life, we are pleased to share the following link to a campaign aimed at inspiring planned giving, called Will Power. The Will Power Campaign is working to create positive change while urging Canadians to think differently about planned giving and leaving a gift to charity in their will.
If you have ever considered planned giving, the following press release provides an overview of the Will Power Campaign. This 10-year initiative is trying to increase legacy giving in Canada by 3.5% (from 5% to 8.5%). These numbers would translate to an additional $40 billion dollars in support of Canadian charities.
