Ontario’s New Excess Soils Legislation: Legal Obligations and Risk Management
Print this Article | Send to Colleague
Ontario’s recently updated excess soil regime creates a new regulatory framework that applies to all construction projects generating “excess soil,” resulting in new standards and obligations that impose additional legal requirements on project stakeholders.
The regulatory changes will affect property owners, developers, consultants and the construction industry as a whole, exposing participants to new risks and legal requirements.
Please join Osler’s Andrew Wong and Jennifer Fairfax for a special webinar where they will discuss how the changes impact various stages of a project including project planning, budgeting and project delivery. The webinar will also address edits to the CCDC suite of documents in light of the legislation.
