We are so excited to see what 2017 has in store and it appears it is off to a great start. We look forward to sharing these experiences with you as the League continues to grow with the support of its Champions, Patrons and partner MySafeWork.
We would like to highlight some events that ended 2016, beginning with Alberici Constructors Limited.
On December 6, 2016, Alberici Constructors Limited held its year-end safety operations meeting at Tyandaga Golf Course Clubhouse. Rob Ellis was invited to speak to approximately 75 executive leaders, senior management and staff in an effort to promote a safety culture within their company. This is the beginning of their Safety roll out campaign to all project sites, demonstrating that their workers are important to them and that Workplace prevention is attainable. The League also ended 2016 by welcoming its newest champions: Ontario Electrical League (OEL); Northern Structures; Triple Crown Enterprises; Rutherford Contracting; M&G Steel Limited; and Anchor Shoring & Caissons Limited.
2016 was such an awesome year, however, 2017 will be even better. We want to thank all of our champions and patrons for their on-going support and leadership.
Champions are invited to attend the George Brown College Event held on February 8, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Angelo DelZotto School of Construction Management, Casa Loma Campus. For those interested in attending, please contact Lyndsy Miceli at lyndsy@ogca.ca for more details.
