Contractor Challenges
In today’s ever changing environment, certain items are causing issues for OGCA members. These issues singularly do not seem to be items that can’t be overcome. It is the plurality of these changes that are creating on going challenges for Contractors to continue to thrive in today’s marketplace. This session is meant to flush out the challenges faced by OGCA members and start finding solutions and alternative approaches to alleviate the impacts of these issues.
After conducting a series of across country interviews with contractors the information that is been gathered will be presented in this session to help us identify what are the key aspects of our changing environment and how we deal with them.

Fit for Duty / Cannabis
By now we will begin to see the impact on the legalization of marijuana. More importantly, it is vital that all contractors and subtrades maintain their fit for duty policies and are vigilant on their construction sites. This session will update members on their duties and the things that they can do to ensure the health and safety of workers on their site.
