Ryerson MASc student Steph Tzanis is conducting a survey as part of their thesis. The focus of the research, supervised by Dr. Mark Gorgolewski, is to investigate the level of awareness and perceptions of design for disassembly (DfD) in the Ontario building design and construction industry. The overall goal is to improve circularity in the industry through DfD principles. The research has been approved for Mitacs funding, partnered with Sustainable Buildings Canada.
The online survey is anonymous and should take about 15 minutes to complete. After submitting, you will be asked to be contacted for a follow-up interview, which is separate and optional. To participate you must be 18 years of age or older and currently practicing in the Ontario building design and construction industry.
Participation is completely voluntary and only the researchers will have access to the research data. Sustainable Buildings Canada (SBC) may be involved in dissemination of the final results and publications.
