Doug Ford and his PC Party swept through Ontario, picking up seven additional seats, with 83 seats. The NDP formed official Opposition, with 31 seats, while the Liberals failed to secure official party status for the second consecutive election with just eight seats. By defeating the Liberals and NDP, and both leaders stepping down, Doug Ford has cemented himself as a leader for workers and a champion of "Getting it Done."
There are increasing problems with the availability of concrete materials and this is creating some concern over placing overtime costs, reductions in placement sizes and longer installation schedules.
The Concrete Floor Contractors Association typically organize concrete floor placements to be completed as efficiently as possible over a regular eight hour work day. It remains critical that placement sizes & concrete delivery rates be harmonized to avoid creating unnecessary waiting overtime costs.

Autodesk has finalized the acquisition of ProEst, a cloud-based estimating platform that speeds and simplifies estimates, digital takeoffs, reporting, CRM, bid-day analysis and more. The company will integrate ProEst with Autodesk Construction Cloud, an end-to-end construction management platform that connects teams, data and workflows across the entire building lifecycle.
